I'm going to promote this venue an extra star because I know it lands in the center of a really small town.
Where I live, we have lots of roller-rinks, mostly wooden floors. Skate City is a sort of polished linoleium that is comparable to the stickiness of a wooden floor. The venue is small, but can house an audience for a derby bout for it's city's size, as well, there are basketball hoops on all 4 sides and a scoreboard.
The venue offers skate rentals, a mini-arcade, 2-stall bathrooms for M/F, a skate shop, and ticket window. Parking is adequate for a town of it's size.
I would go to this rink regularly if I lived in town, however, for a place to host a sporting event it could be a bit larger. All and all, a good venue... and if you're looking for a place to skate in a small town, an EXCELLENT venue!
