"Hitting off of a machine can be a little intimidating for a first year player and my son was intimidated. When the season started I heard "I hate baseball, I want to quit!"
Like most parents I want my son to have a good time and enjoy playing baseball so after a long talk about practicing and working hard I turned to Charlie Rose and one of their coaches "Mike V".
After a 30 min evaluation lesson Coach Mike gave us some drills to work on off the batting tee. I was impressed by Mike's professionalism and ability to engage my son so it was fun for him. I signed up for a 10 pack of lessons. Needless to say after 4-5 lessons my son can hit the ball 8-8 so far and the statement has changed to "I Love Baseball! and "are we practicing with Coach Mike today?"
From getting the gear we needed for the season to private lessons Charlie Rose has been a great experience.
