About Sam, the owner
Sam started in the restaurant industry at Zim’s restaurant in San Francisco in 1981 as a dishwasher. He later became their payroll manager. He has a long and varied career in the restaurant business. Sam was the owner and operator of Henry’s Burgers for twelve years from 1994 to 2006. His first son was named Henry after this restaurant. Sam opened Sam’s Road House in 2006 and it is still operating today. In Sept. 2007, he bought the Hof Brau House in Terra Linda which continues to turn out some of the best lunches in Marin County. In December 2008, Sam opened Sam’s Place in Novato. Sam and his staff deliver quality food in a friendly atmosphere. Each person prides themselves in being fully capable and efficient in their job to deliver first class service. The restaurant only serves guaranteed fresh meat, fruit and vegetables.
